These projects are focused on building capacity in the local community via supporting intercultural alliances and intergenerational bridge building, facilitating youth in service projects, collaboration and self-inquiry. We unite various community initiatives via online platforms, direct community action, education, and video interviews to promote the formation of partnerships in law-making and legislative action. Co-founder, Coordinator and Mentor: Locals for Local Change hosted this platform to train a group of young Hawai`ian leaders in international politics and social change. With only 6 weeks to organize, we successfully brought five young adults and three coordinators to Paris for 3 weeks and held a final event on Maui to share with our community what we had learned and next steps.
